Presentation to the Coylet Inn, Loch Eck : Argyll Pub of the Year 2008 : 29 November 2008

A really good day out was had by the Branch on this trip to present the Coylet Inn with the Glasgow and West of Scotland Pub of the Year Award for the Argyll area. A pleasant bus drive though the snowcapped mountains of the Arrochar Alps was surpassed by the warm welcome at the Coylet. The log fires were needed to drive out the winter chill and the generous support of of Tuggy & Johnny from Fyne Ales was most welcome.
A fine buffet of ale-inspired food was much enjoyed by the members and we were treated to a fantastic chocolate cake made by Tuggy to celebrate the award. Sam and Ro Copson gave much praise to their staff and all were able to congratulate Fyne Ales on 7 years of brewing.
