    It could (and should be!) argued that CAMRA members have actually physically paid for their £30 of vouchers with their £30.50 annual subscription, that would eliminate the argument that we are getting 50p off our pints and breaching minimum unit pricing.

    Notwithstanding the common sense logic of my statement above, it would be nice to have the situation with real ale pints at £1.79 Mon to Wed and £1.99 on other days fully clarified with Wetherspoons.
    Clearly, the abv will dictate a minimum price in Scotland for each pint and shouldn't the consumer know what that price actually is?

    I was told by a staff member at Cambuslang Spoons that the 50p vouchers could not be used on £1.99 guest ales, but could be used on any ales from £2 upwards?
    I shall ask the manager at East Kilbride his views on this policy.
