Lanarkshire Pub of the Year 2020

The Weavers in Strathaven receive our award.

Another award decided in March, another long wait to receive it. With little hope of a branch celebration anytime soon, and the threat of another forced closure looming, the award for the 2020 Lanarkshire Pub of the Year was made in a low key way. This should take nothing away from the fine effort the Weavers in Strathaven has made to provide some excellent beers and a warm welcome. The picture shows co-owner Maureen Campbell receiving our award for the third successive year. She was particularly pleased to receive it this year as it marks the pub's 40th anniversary.
