Presentation to the Bon Accord

One of Glasgow's best known real ale pubs became the Branch's overall pub of the Year for 2022 by a members' vote during the AGM in March. Over 10 members of the branch had the enjoyable task of supporting the presentation of the award. The picture shows Branch Chairman Johnnie McKenna (centre) passing our mini-font trophy to the pub's Thomas McDonnagh and Anna Rybarczyk. Our congratulations go to Thoms and his team for supplying customers with consistently good beer and hospitality.

Venue: Macs Bar, 14-18 Castlehill St, Rothesay

The 12:48 Wemyss Bay train from Glasgow Central + ferry will get you there on time. We also plan to visit the Anchor Tavern in Port Bannatyne and the Bull Inn in Rothesay. Possibly a visit to the Bute Yard.
