Presentation to Roddy Young of the Drum & Monkey : Glasgow Pub of the Year : 29 November 2011

Pictures by Euan Fraser

Branch Secretary Stan Thompson (left) presented the pub of the year award certificate to Roddy Young, manager of the Drum & Monkey. This is the first time this pub has won our award, which was for the considerable improvement in its beer quality combined with the overall welcome that we receive as customers.
Roddy shows off the certificate with his manager Billy Duncan and his staff.
In the final photo the Glasgow CAMRA team to help make the occasion.
