Two Glasgow Pubs of the Year

A joint win for the State Bar and the Lismore

On the agenda for the November 2024 Branch meeting was the vote for the Glasgow pub of the year. This is always a strongly contested award with many votes received on line and form the large number of members present at the meeting. After two rounds of voting all but two of the six short-listed pubs had dropped out of contention and in the final round both the Lismore and the State Bar received the same number of votes. After discussing the options the decision was to award the title to both pubs jointly.



Presentations to the pubs will be arranged in the new year.
